Sky fell in love with music at a very young age. Being surrounded by guitars and Beatles' music at home helped this love evolve into a passion to create and perform music that people can feel. He is a multi-instrumentalist and lyricist who has been writing music since he was 15 years old. The depth of his songwriting has continued to develop with age and experience.
He was the front man for the popular Boulder, CO band, Smack Thompson, for 6 years. He gained much experience playing hundreds of shows in Colorado and beyond. He moved back to his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland in 2014 and has steadily increased his presence in the local scene. He now performs regularly as a solo acoustic act as well as duo, trio and full-band setups. He plays a wide variety of covers as well as original music and looping.
